You must register to download this free software. This is a 62MB download! I haven’t tried the software, so I can’t recommend it. I’m more of a free spirit and prefer to choose my own colors by eye.

My Embroidery Haven :: View Forum - Stabilizer Court
Just received an email update from Marie and My Embriodery Haven regarding the different types of stabilizers and how/when to use each.
If you have stabilizer questions, and who among us doesn’t from time to time read this forum! Marie has posted information on cut away, tear away, water solubles, heat away and several others!
There’s even a Stabilizer FAQ for you.

I read today on one of the Yahoo Groups I’m a member of that Embird has released the much anticipated 2006 release. As I stated yesterday on this blog I would install this on Vista if and when it became available. Timing is everything isn’t it?

It works great! I was excited to see it install completely after having the 2004 version not install on the last two Vista builds. I really do like Vista (even… … in beta), but I really want my embroidery software to run on it as well.

Robyn has started a great weblog for embroidery/sewing inspiration if I’ve ever seen one. Even if you don’t read a word of text the photos of projects that she’s posted and linked thus far are worth a visit. A one stop hop for hints, tips,… … quilting, embroidery, books and much more. She even posted the Butterfly Line Art I did!

You have to go on… … over and check it out. Today Sadia discusses the ‘witch hunt’ re: Embroidery Software Protection Coalition (ESPC). I’d read rants and raves on a few Yahoo Groups machine embroidery mail lists awhile back. I just found too many people deciding if I wasn’t with ‘em I was against ‘em. Not quite the case, but enough to keep me from posting ever again. Basically I have a mind of my own and will gladly think for myself- thank you very much.

She has some great embroidery tips too. It’s definitely worth the visit!
